👉 expand one’s horizons というフレーズを覚えておきましょう。
horizon というのは、地平線、水平線 – つまりここでは知識や経験の限界を意味しているん
ですね。それを「広げていく」というわけです。

③ Can you guess who this person in the painting is? 【 文の部品 – wh節】
👉さあ、Can you guess の後ろに who 以下が続いていますけれども、
これは wh節ですね。疑問の意味を持たない「文の部品」です。

④ I’ll tell her you said that.【 リポート文の形 】
👉 I’ll tell her – この tell her その内容を you said that という説が説明している
リポート文の形でした。
