look は「目をやる」というわけです。そして for は「求める」-「求めて目をやる」
だから、「探す」というフレーズになっているわけです。

👉 They gave me a new one, もちろん、これは「授与型」ですよね。
「私に – me」「 a new one を」「くれた – gave」というわけです。

③ What were the odds, right？【 odds の意味 】
👉 odds これは「ものが起こる確率」のこと。

④ Lucky you.【 ここでの使い方のニュアンス 】
👉 Lucky you. ここではちょっとした「皮肉」ですよね。
