① I especially like those blue LEDs.【 especially のニュアンス 】
👉さあ、especially という単語。これは、動詞に「指定」を加える時には「特にこれは、と言って拾い
上げる」そうした感触をもった単語です。

② They go well with the silver ornaments.【 go well with の意味 】
👉 go well with「一緒にうまく進んで行く」ただそれだけのフレーズです。
ここでは「釣り合う」と訳しましたが、いろんな訳し方がありますよね。

③ No, he just wants to drop by and say hello.【 drop by と say hello の意味 】
👉 drop by – これは「立ち寄る」という表現ですけれども、by は「近く」そして drop は
「パラッと落ちる」わけですね。「パラッと近くに落ちる」そこから「立ち寄る」という意味合いに
なるわけです。
👉 say hello – これは「挨拶をする」というフレーズ。
