👉 passion これは「情熱」という単語ですね。基本単語です。覚えておいてください。

③ I haven’t heard that. 【 hear のニュアンス】
👉 I haven’t heard – この hear は「聞いて知っている」というところまで含んでいます。
だから「知らないよ、そんなことは」と言っているわけです。

④ Are you making this up?【 実は目的語説明型と同じ形 】
👉これは、目的語説明型と同じ形をしています。this ＝ up「失言した状態を」make「作る」
というわけですね。従って、「でっちあげる」というわけです。
